I started the day working on one song for the Mayor & His Allies but it is too big to get done in a day, so I went back to some robot friends for help on another track. This one uses all virtual instruments and heavy use of randmoness and automatic modulation inside Bitwig, a DAW (digital audio workstation). Every time I play this from the DAW it sounds different. This recording is one playthrough. I want to dig deeper into this idea of taking traditional instrument sounds (in this case, virtual banjo, guitar, upright bass, bones and bodran drums) and doing weird stuff to them but have them still be recognizable.
