MSN UK is running a Thought Thieves video contest, calling “intelectual property thieves,” “thought thieves.” I guess that makes creatively reusing what should be our cultural commons a thought crime. Hasn’t Microsoft learned they should avoid Orwellian language?

We need a movement that does for video what punk rock did for music. We have the tools. Perhaps this is part of the beginning?
