Restaurant mini-review: Suma

sumaI’ve been checking out restaurants in the neighborhood lately. On Good Friday, Lizz and I hit up Suma (Amsterdam b/w 107 & 108) to get a sushi fix. The place is tiny, but fits comfortably in the tight space; very Japanese. The food was very good and prices were reasonable, however the constant flow of cheesy Christian pop music over the speakers was a little much to bear. We’re not sure if it was the holiday or if they just really dig bad Christian pop, but I’m hesitant to return to eat in!
