					<description>I've always had trouble convincing the rat-afflicted that compost is a solution, and not just one more way to harbor rats, but it is. Think it through: household garbage doesn't have to stink, and if you actually can manage to separate out the food waste and keep it contained and rat proof, you won't be trying to bag  up rat food every garbage night. 

It can't happen on the scale that it needs to without city support, but it can be done. It just takes a lot of chickenwire.</description>
