I’m getting excited to head out for Austin (for the second time this year!) for SXSW Interactive next week. Shortly thereafter, I’ll be heading to Michigan for a quick weekend trip to attend my cousin’s baby shower and wrap up some Ann Arbor loose ends (so if you want to hang out sometime on the 18th or 19th, contact me now). Unfortunately, I will not be attending the NTEN Nonprofit Technology Conference this year, as my employer has refused to help pay for it, and I’d rather not shoulder the almost $1,000 airfare + transportation + conference fees + food/drink would cost (I even arranged free housing!).  I developed some great relationships at the two previous NTEN conferences, and I was looking forward to visiting Seattle and seeing some friends.  Maybe I’ll make it to Portland later this summer for OSCON, instead?
