Missing Out
I’m a bit sad that I’m not in the Detroit area during the whole Super-bowl rush. It’d be nice to see actual tourists in the actual downtown for once; and it’d be nice to see the city actually trying to put on a pleasant face. detroitblog has been making some great observations and I look forward to following the circus, the good and the bad.

Eric and I were down there last weekend. He’s looking at a loft about 5 blocks from comerica park. We went there, camput martius, the ren-cen, and Greektown and it was crowed everywere. It was clean, people were everywhere. It was kinda freakin me out.
The real test will be to see what it’s like in 6 months to a year.
