<description>[...] Nick&amp;#8217;s recent essays on culture, corruption, atheism, religion, the death penalty and other philosophical tangents have been thought provoking and educational. Dumi has been keeping me thinking about race, culture and politics. Josh has been diligently documenting his travels in Central &amp;#38; South America, most recently giving a street-level view of Venezuela and its politics. Amanda just got back from Turkey via South Africa, and has been dumping all kinds of interesting thoughts about everything from race and economics in South Africa to the scalability of Drupal. Noel recently launched a global Internet art event (flop or not?). Lizz just launched NYCityPets.com to write about all things companion animal in NYC. Laura is leading the charge to preserve Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor bus service. Mike helped launch the effort to save an historic home in DC, recently wrote a great piece about the Student Publications Building renovations, and will soon be launching a blog for the Washington Post. Ed just got a job with the School of Information at the U of M working with Drupal, of all things. Murph just bought a house in Ypsi. Oh, and I&amp;#8217;m going to be an uncle soon.
