I haven’t spent a lot of time following music in any real way for almost a decade. One band I had heard about and never checked out is Saturday Looks Good to Me. I’ve been working out of coffee shop in Williamsburg while I wait for an Internet connection at home (Fix, 11th St & Bedford Ave). Today, at 4pm, SLGTM set up and started playing a free afternoon show, that is quite well attended. A pleasant, serendipitous visit from Michigan!

The guitarist says their drummer and keyboard player quit after too many drinks last night in Ithaca. He and a female vocalist are performing as a duo … They sound alright even w/o the full line-up. I think they’re kidding.
