No Sleep Till Brooklyn

Greenpoint. Brooklyn.

Lizz signed a lease today for a place in Greenpoint, Brooklyn’s “Little Poland” neighbor to hipster mecca Williamsburg. It’s close to the Nassau G station (a crappy train, but still, a train) and two big parks with dog runs, McGolrick & McCarren. It also comes with two bedrooms (yay, office!), access to a shared yard (yay, dog/garden space!), and a Polish landlady (yay, heritage!). Lizz has an interview tomorrow for a perfect job, so if she gets it, Mission Accomplished.

Hurrah! Congratulations! Brooklyn, Office, Poland, Dogs, and Train. Sounds perfect for you guys! You’ll be ecstatic around Fat Tuesday…and perhaps the old Polish lady will make some good dinners for you two. No mini-pope, but I’m sure it will do.

    Welcome, neighbour.

Good work Lizz and Scott! That sounds fantastic. Bust out the perogies and make with the dancing! Now I just need an address to send this Welcome to NY present.

  5. Scott Says:

I’ll let you know as soon as Lizz confirms the apartment number.

  6. Rachel Says:

Yes! Let us know too what the address/apt# is and the date you’ll be moved in. I wish we could come out to help you move in! Joe and I will have to plan a fall/winter visit. Sounds like Joe’s schedule should be fairly flexible.

Sweet! Will have to come visit! (assuming we can fins a sitter for the upcomming rugrat). Good perogies in the hood is a plus!

    Good luck on the interview!

Sigh, spouses, babies, and moving out of state, when did we start getting old-ish?
