I have a soft spot in my heart for Wobblies. Some of the coolest, weirdest, most interesting people I’ve ever met are hard core IWW members. I’ve always felt the IWW as an organization matters more as an historical movement than a contemporary one, but they just keep chugging along, fighting against irrelevance. I was happy to hear they just launched a new web site built on Drupal using some CivicSpace modules. It’s a decent looking site. It’s maybe little too geeky, video-gamey looking (if that makes any sense; I’m not sure how describe the slightly overly graphical style of the site), but definitely an improvement.
