Here’s one I won’t be attending: Penguicon 3.0. It’s sort of a Linux User Group meets Sci-Fi convention. I’m a big fan of Cory Doctrow, who is a guest of honor at the Con, but the content definitely skews geek-culture-heavy and technical-content-light — and I’m not enough of sci-fi/role-playing kind of guy to really enjoy myself.
